Frequently Asked QuestionsWhy the Reunion? Because Saint Columb's Hall was a unique foundation amongst early theological centres for training in Australia. It was a Bishop's College founded in 1903. It was closed in 1969 due to changes occurring in educational expectations. Current debate and discussion is highlighting many of the Hall's positive contribution. Offical Recognition: Has the Reunion offical sanction of the Anglican Church? Yes and no. It is a voluntary association(currently 22 people). The Bishop of Wangaratta kindly permits the reunion to meet in his Diocese and honours by his attendance. Membership Fee: There is no cost. The only personal cost incurred is for travel and accommodation for attendance at the reunion and seminars. Subscription to 'the dove'? There is no subscription. The newsletter is produced not for profit and is issued in March and September. |
